Paint my fridge please - Some suggestions: you can use a search engine to locate appliance refinishers/appliance refinishing in your city, you may want to check with your local home improvement store for recommendations, or may even ask if a local autobody shop would do the job. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: WendyMichaelsI just want to pay someone to paint my refrigerator-? I can't find anything online.I don't want to do it myself-how much? how long? who? thanks-1950 coldspot-
-- Contributed by: paint my fridge pleaseDeborah - I've read conflicting reports about painting inside of a freezer, including the fact that the paint may not adhere to the surface. I did, however, find this paint at Home Depot. Good luck!

-- Contributed by: deborahWhat about the'instructions' on appliances? Numbering/Lettering will be painted over I presume? Any tipsanyone?
-- Contributed by: confusedHi Kate,
There are special procedures and precautions used when painting plastic, and the fact that heat is involved raises other issues. I'd factor in what it would cost to try and paint your toaster, vs. buying a new one.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladDoes anyone have any tips for painting a toaster? Mine is a "cool touch" toaster with plastic on the outside. I'm not sure if I can just use paint for plastic or if I need something that's heat resistant. Any suggestions? Thanks!
-- Contributed by: KateHi Carr,
You want to use a rust inhibitor or rust prevention product such as Rust Away or Naval Jelly. I suggest you talk to your local home improvement specialist to see what they recommend.

-- Contributed by: carrrHi Sue,
Make sure you follow the instructions on the label. For most appliance paints, the best way to apply them is to use an airless spray gun in order to avoid brush strokes. These basic tips should help:
- Keep paint at room temperature in a dark dry place
- Apply light coatings at intervals of 15 minutes or so
- Leave paint dry for at least one day
I heard appliance paint is really "runny" solution. If that is true, what are recommend techniquest to prevent this from happening.
-- Contributed by: Sue TackHi Elaine,
The paint you are looking for is made specifically to adhere to appliances. You can check with your local home improvement dealer and ask what brands they carry, or you can check out appliance paints found on the internet.

-- Contributed by: elaine bergThe epoxy appliance paint should work fine for you, but of course with going from black to white you may need several applications to get good coverage. It's probably worth a try, especially if you're just going to get rid of it because it's black.
-- Contributed by: Sarah WhiteMoving into a house that has a brand new wall mounted microwave. It is a good brand but it is white and everything I have is black. I really want to keep it but I was not sure about painting it. I need to paint the white to black. Brand new any suggestions?
