Hi Ken! Thanks for your comment about using paperless drywall as a tile backer.
-- Contributed by: WendyMichaelsThe paperless manufacturer's are saying that this product works great as a tile backer material. Green board is being phased-out by specifiers.
-- Contributed by: Ken LeePaperless drywall is just like regular drywall, only it has fiberglass mats instead of paper covering the gypsum core. So it should look pretty much the same on the inside as other kinds of drywall.
-- Contributed by: Sarah WhiteI live in a condo and we have some water damage from the unit upstairs where their water damaged are unit. They cut into the drywall and they told me that it was paperless drywall, but when looking at the drywall after they drilled a hole into it, I could see a substance that looked similar to cardboard. Will paperless drywall still have a cardboard like substance, or will it not have any at all?
