Hi Epe,
Thanks for your comment - I'm guessing, giving the non-standard size of the doors you're looking for, you may have to go with custom made sliding doors. I did a Google search of custom wood clad sliding doors and Milgard (http://www.milgard.com/products/fiberglass-patio-doors/woodclad-french-sliding.asp) is one possibility. You might want to check in with a home improvement store, like Lowe's or Home Depot, to see if they can offer manufacturers who have non-standard sizes. Home Depot is supposed to have a line called Sequel (http://sequelwindows.com/whySequel.html) that also has customized sizes.
Hello,
I am looking for wood-clad sliding doors larger than 8' wide(with two panels), do you know any companies manufacturing these doors wider than the standard size of 8' with two panels?
I am looking for contemporary style windows, and I currently have large sliders with narrow aluminum frames in my house. I would like to replace them with energy efficient ones, preferably made with wood (solid wood frame with metal struds inside for support) if possible.
I would appreciate any information and suggestions for manufacturers.
Thanks.

That's a good questions. When you buy your new doors, be sure you donât over tighten the screws, or the track may warp out of shape and prevent your new closet doors from sliding smoothly.
Wood doors are most often constructed using oak, fir and pine, and has a tendency to warp when it becomes damp. If your closet it located near the bath where it experiences high humidity, I would consider making another choice.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladThe wooden vinyl clad sliding doors I got for my wardrobe sometime back have started to warp horizontally and vertically. I believe this is because of their large size, but I still would like to go for new sliding doors for my wardrobe. What would you suggest is the best way to keep them strong and resistant from wrapping.
Thank you.
